Jakarta, 4–5 February 2026 — The CEO of Eco-Insight Consulting, together with the team, attended the Indonesia–UK PACT Portfolio Alignment Forum (PAF) 2026, held in Jakarta on 4–5 February 2026. This annual forum is part of the Annual Learning, Integration, and Governance for Net-Zero (ALIGN) initiative under Indonesia–UK PACT Phase 2.

The forum brought together project teams from multiple portfolios, including Low Carbon Transport, Energy Efficiency, Carbon Pricing, as well as the cross-cutting Climate Governance initiative. The event aimed to reflect on progress during the first year of implementation, strengthen cross-portfolio synergies, and align strategies for the second year of implementation (FY 2026/27).

On this occasion, the CEO of Eco-Insight Consulting served as a speaker, particularly in the thematic Climate Governance session, with a focus on carbon governance in Indonesia. The presentation highlighted the importance of strengthening a credible, integrated, and coherent carbon governance framework aligned with Indonesia’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets.

The discussion emphasized the role of policies, institutional arrangements, and measurement and reporting systems in supporting the implementation of carbon pricing and the broader climate transition agenda. Eco-Insight’s contribution also aimed to support project teams in articulating how activities across different portfolios contribute concretely to strengthening Indonesia’s NDC and reducing sectoral emissions.

The Portfolio Alignment Forum 2026 was convened by the Indonesia–UK PACT Fund Team (Palladium) in collaboration with the British Embassy Jakarta and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The forum is expected to result in strengthened alignment of priorities, enhanced cross-project learning, and robust governance recommendations to support Indonesia’s transition toward a low-carbon economy.
